Surveys

The CIECR hosts and maintains a variety of different congregational and crowdsourcing surveys for our research and for the benefit of churches across Canada.

Volunteer Impact Survey

The Volunteer Impact Survey is part of the Regional Engagement Atlas of Churches (REACH) project. The REACH project allows churches to learn about their congregation's impact on the local community and involvement in their local church through financial giving, relevant volunteer activities, and more.

After Church Atlas Survey

The After Church Atlas collects and presents data on church closure, focusing on the cultural meanings and dynamics informing the transformations taking place at former places of worship. The survey is a crowdsourcing tool for members of the public to document church closures and the re-use of worship spaces.

Canadian Congregations Survey

The Canadian Congregations Survey (CCS) is a census-like survey exploring core data on congregations in Canada and allow institutes like the CIECR to better understand the Canadian Church.
