Overview

In light of secularization and immigration, what is the current state and health of Canadian congregations?

Funded by a Louisville 2025 Grant for Researchers, the Canadian Congregations Survey (CCS) by Dr. Sam Reimer (Crandall University) in collaboration with the CIECR will be launched in early 2027.

The CCS is a comprehensive survey investigating the state and health of congregations in Canada. The CCS will be disseminated to a random sample of congregations based on the Canada Revenue Agency’s T3010 data (cleaned by the CIECR), giving us the first ever representative study of congregations in Canada.
