A total of 31 semi-structured interviews were conducted with pastoral leaders across Canada, representing various community sizes and Christian faith traditions. The primary objective of the study is to determine if and how Collins’ framework can identify principles of “greatness” that may lead to church growth. Under the Divine Pulse project, we aimed to answer the following questions about greatness in the Canadian Church:
The Divine Pulse project aims to explore life, death, and the pursuit of greatness in contemporary Canadian churches. It is an interdisciplinary, multifaceted project co-created by various collaborators and researchers part of the CIECR.
