Dr. Wing Wong
Dr. Wong completed her PhD in health psychology at City University of Hong Kong and is a Fellow of the Association of Psychological Sciences. She has extensive experience conducting research in the areas of community-based health care, psychometrics, and the epidemiology of chronic pain and mental illness. Her research program combines studies of basic epidemiological questions and assessment issues with applied, theory-driven behavioral medical research using different research methods in clinical as well as community settings. She specializes in conducting population surveys, developing and validating psychological measurements, and quantitative data analysis. She is currently completing a Master of Theological Studies at Tyndale University.
Dr. James Watson
James Watson (MDiv, PhD) has personal experience with tentmaking church plants and coordinated the research teams for the Canadian Multivocational Ministry Project. In addition to congregational leadership, he has research experience with multicultural congregations and the roles Canadian congregations can play to support settlement process for newcomers to Canada. In addition to research, he has served as consultant, trainer, and coach for Canadian leaders.
Dr. Rebeca Heringer
Rebeca Heringer (M.Ed., Ph.D.) is a Protestant Reformed Christian. She was born and raised in the First Presbyterian Church of Belo Horizonte (Brazil) and today she is a member of Waverley Baptist Church (Winnipeg, MB), where she serves in various ministries. Originally from Brazil, she moved to Canada in 2016 for her graduate studies and has since then worked in a myriad of research projects and taught graduate and undergraduate students. Rebeca is currently working as a Research Coordinator at the Manitoba Centre for Health Policy (University of Manitoba) and a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Canadian Institute for Empirical Church Research (Wycliffe College, University of Toronto).
